Dimchevsky, Nikolai Vladimirovich

Nikolai Vladimirovich Dimchevsky ( May 31, 1926 - 2002 ) - Russian poet, prose writer, translator, journalist, photo artist, researcher, traveler and woodcarver.

He graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy of Moscow University . After graduating from the university, he worked at the Astrakhan Pedagogical Institute for three years, then on television, he was deputy editor-in-chief of Sovetskaya Rossiya publishing house.

In the newspaper "Moscow University" in 1948 published the first poem.

He made his debut in print in 1959 (the magazine "New World" and " Literary Newspaper ").

The author of the poetry books “The Ice-hole” (1968),

“Colors of the North” (1972),

Juniper Root (1983),

The Birth of Rivers (1989),

The Dream of the Bird (1996).

He also wrote prose books:

“Wicket in the Blue” (1968),

“July at the End of the World" (1970),

“The Image of Wanderings” (1976),

"Summer snow on the slopes" (1977),

Eternal Miracles (1981),

“At the time of mowed grass” (1990).

The poems were kindly accepted by V. Lugovsky, E. Vinokurov, L. Martynov, B. Slutsky.
