Babkina, Nadezhda Georgievna

He is the People's Artist of the Chechen Republic.

In 2012 she received the title of People's Artist of Ingushetia ^[4] .

In 2016, Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded Nadezhda Babkin the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, 3rd class.

In 1989, on the basis of the Russian Song ensemble, Babkina created the multifunctional Moscow State Folklore Center Russian Song ^[2] . Since April 1994, the Russian Song Folk Center has become an independent organization run by the Committee for Culture of Moscow. It consists of an instrumental group of six musicians who own many of the arrangements. The center is attended by directors Sergey Tsvetkov, Lyubov Grechishnikova, choreographer Elena Karaseva, artists A. Mamaev, M. Fedorova, B. Yudashkin . In September 2000, in connection with further improvement of the creative diversity of work directions, the Center was reorganized into the State Budgetary Institution of Culture - Moscow State Musical Theater of Folklore “Russian Song” (GBUK MGMTF “Russian Song”), with the appointment of Nadezhda Babkina as an artistic director - theater director.
