History
The Borinsky-Zavodsky District was formed on July 30, 1928 as part of the Central Black Earth Region (CCO) (until 1930 it was part of the Yelets District ).
Its center was located in the village of Borinskoye . On February 1, 1933, the district was abolished (the territory was transferred to the Lipetsk , Zadonsky and Khlevensky districts).
December 31, 1934 in the Voronezh region was formed Borinsky district .
With the formation of January 6, 1954 , the Lipetsk region was included in its composition.
On February 1, 1963, the district was abolished (the territory entered the Lipetsk region ).
