In 2006, the company was involved in a corruption scandal with the Federal Mandatory Medical Insurance Fund . This is confirmed by the testimony of the former head of the control and audit department of the FFOMS Tatyana Markova [2] . The president of Biotek, Oleg Kovalev, mentioned in the case went to Israel for treatment in 2006 , where he is at the time of 2009 , communicating with the prosecutor's office exclusively through a lawyer [3] .
