History
Archimandrites put this settlement of Danilov Monastery on the Posadsky pasture until 1581. This year, a royal deed was given to her, after the settlement of monastic peasants on the city land caused discontent among the native townspeople who protested against these possessions. In 1609, there were 9 residential peasant households, in troubled times "Lithuanian thieves robbed their bellies."
According to the scribe book of 1628, Lugovaya Sloboda is populated by monastery officials. The handicraft population of the settlement in 1649 "fed on small businesses, ... didn’t listen to archimandrites and monasteries paid any income, didn’t make any products, repaired heavily ... 16 people (of them) went to the pig fair". As a result of the complaint of the archimandrite, the imperial letter of 1649 followed, which, on the basis of article 19 of the chapter of the Code, was forbidden to keep and rent shops and keep at the mercy of the baskets and customs and taverns. In 1682, at the request of the monastery authorities, they were exempted from payment of conscript money. In 1702, they were on a quitrent and paid Danilov Monastery 85.5 rubles, brewed kvass and made every product at the monastery. [one]
