The Seventh Battle of Isonzo September 14, 1916 - September 16, 1916 . Unsuccessful offensive of the Italian army against the Austro-Hungarian troops during the First World War . The seventh battle of Isonzo marked the beginning of the three fall offensives of the Italians. Each of which ended in complete failure. Despite the fatigue and material exhaustion of the troops, the commander-in-chief of the Italian army of Cadorna attempted to break through the Austro-Hungarian front in the autumn of 1916 . The seventh battle of Isonzo lasted only 2 days, without achieving any results, the Italian troops returned to their positions.
