The training center has 14 football fields of various sizes, as well as training and rehabilitation zones, physiotherapists and massage therapists, therapeutic and hydrotherapy pools, a sauna, a steam room, a gym, squash and basketball courts, a restaurant for players and staff, a conference room , offices and audiences. There is even its own television studio, which interviews players and staff for club television . The training center has already received the nickname “Fortress Carrington” from the press because of its 2.4 km fence and about 30,000 trees surrounding it. It is believed that such a fence can protect the training center from reporters and spies of rival clubs who want to learn the tactics of the team for the upcoming matches.
The total area of the training center is about 43.2 hectares , although the club uses only 28.4 hectares of them. The remaining area is leased to a local farmer and also includes a small piece of conservation area owned by the club and the Cheshire Wildlife Fund.
In April 2013, Manchester United entered into an eight-year contract with Aon to sell the rights to the name of the training center, which will be called the Aon Training Complex [2] . The amount of the contract is estimated at 120 million pounds or 15 million pounds per year [3] .
