Track Development

Levada Station is a dead end. Routes 1-3 are specialized for the arrival of trains, and 4-7 for departures from the station.

For boarding and disembarking passengers, the old emergency high platforms were replaced by low ones with a tiled surface.

There are awnings above all four platforms.

Buildings

Station Kharkov-Levada since 1996 is a passenger station of suburban traffic.

On December 29, 2001, a new generation suburban pavilion was opened at the station: the first Ukrainian turnstile control system for passenger passage was installed, a large and beautiful waiting room with comfortable benches, an increased comfort room, and a small cafe. Also at the station for the first time in UZ, turnstiles were made to exit the station with ticket offices for the exit tickets, that is, passengers who did not have time to buy a ticket before boarding the train can purchase it upon arrival in the city. At night, the dome of the suburban pavilion is beautifully illuminated. Currently, 3 ticket offices in the administrative building are selling long-distance tickets, one of them via the Internet, and 8 ticket offices in the suburban pavilion operate both in long-distance communication and in the suburban. The station serves up to 15,000 passengers per day. During the reconstruction of the station, a whole complex was created, which included the reconstruction of the entire station. All buildings were reconstructed and make up a single complex of blue buildings covered with blue tiles. A new building of a free bathroom for passengers was built, which harmoniously fit into the ensemble.

Paths

One track approaches the station, due to the fact that sections for the second track were not built on the line between Levada and Vereshchakovka. Previously, the second track reached the overpass and ended with an arrow and a dead end. It is believed that in 1999 the second track was removed, although, in fact, it was simply optimized, thereby moving the turnout closer to the station . Due to the fact that the station’s development and increase in passenger traffic to Levada are not expected, the possibility of building a bridge and overpass for the second track is not considered.

Suburban trains

The station sends commuter trains to the stations: Bezlyudovka, Grakovo, Balakleya, Zolochev, Savintsy, Raisins , Estuary , Lyubotin , Merchik, Osnova, Ternovoye, Shebelinka .

In addition, there are accelerated long-distance trains:

  • 6445/6446 Kharkov-Levada - Estuary
  • 7005/7006 Kharkov-Levada - Raisins

Since February 2015, the Kharkov-Levada- Donetsk and Kharkov-Levada- Debaltsevo trains have not run.
