The Norwegian Ole Einar Björndalen , having won silver in the individual race and gold in the relay, brought the number of his Olympic awards for his career to 11 (6 gold, 4 silver and 1 bronze). In the entire history of the Winter Olympics, only the skier Bjorn Daly won more.
