Valove ( est. Valaste juga ) - the highest waterfall in Estonia (height - 30.5 meters) and the Baltic countries [1] . In 1996, the Commission of the Academy of Sciences declared the natural heritage and the national symbol of Estonia.

Located in the county of Ida-Virumaa near the town of Kohtla-Järve . The waterfall was created by an artificial duct, organized to remove excess water from the fields. Water falls from a cliff consisting of sandstone and ancient Silurian limestone. In cold winters, the waterfall freezes.
Valaste is one of the most popular and most visited waterfalls in Estonia. An observation platform has been built for them and a descent to the beach is equipped.
