MTV Russia Music Awards 2004 - the first MTV Russia music awards ceremony was held on October 16, 2004 in Moscow. The venue of the ceremony was the State Kremlin Palace . The nominees for the ceremony were selected by an expert council, which included representatives of leading record companies, producers, promoters and music journalists. Spectator voting began on the night of September 1 to 2.
