Biography
Born on November 24, 1918 in the village of Ryndino, now the Poretsky District of Chuvashia, in a peasant family. Mordvin Member of the CPSU (b) / CPSU since 1943 . Primary education. In October 1938 he was drafted into the Red Army . He graduated from the regimental school and served as a gun commander in Western Ukraine. It met the beginning of the Great Patriotic War.
From the first day he participated in battles with the Nazi invaders. June 22, 1941 in the battle for the village of Brusno, Lviv region was wounded. After treatment again in the army, he fought on the South-Western Front. From the autumn of 1942 - as part of the 1st (from March 1, 1943 - 1st Guards) artillery division of the Reserve of the Main Command. He participated in the defeat of the Nazis at Stalingrad .
The commander of the gun guard, Senior Sergeant Akhayev, distinguished himself in battles at the Kursk Bulge. On July 9, 1943, in the area of the village of Soborovka (Kromsky District of the Oryol Region ), his calculation by direct fire hit several heavy tanks, thereby helping to repel an enemy attack.
The brave artilleryman took part in the liberation of Orel, the Ukrainian cities of Glukhov, Bakhmach, Konotop . In September 1943, the 200th Artillery Regiment was the first in the division to begin to force the Dnieper north of Kiev . Guard senior sergeant Ahaev with the calculation under enemy fire without loss, he crossed over to the already captured bridgehead and immediately went into battle, supporting the infantry with fire. In the battles on the bridgehead in just one day, on October 4 , the settlement of Ahaev destroyed several enemy machine guns, anti-tank guns, vehicles with ammunition.
By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of October 17, 1943, for exemplary performance of command assignments and for showing courage and heroism in battles with the German fascist invaders of the guard, senior sergeant Philip Petrovich Akhayev was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star medal (No. 3229).
Two months later, in one of the December battles, an artillery hero was wounded. After recovery, he was sent not to the front, but to a military school. In the summer of 1945 he graduated from the Ivanovo military-political school. In August 1945, as part of the 36th Army of the Trans-Baikal Front, he participated in the defeat of the Japanese militarists.
Since July 1946, Lieutenant Ahaev has been in reserve. The first time he lived and worked in the Rostov region . In 1953 he moved to the Irkutsk region. He worked as a master-fitter Angarskgesstroy, a platoon commander of explosives at the Artyomovsky mine on the Lena River, a prospector at the Vitimsky mine, Mamsko-Chui district.
Died March 4, 1979 . He was buried in the village of Vitimsky, Mamsko-Chui district of the Irkutsk region.
