The film was shot in the city of Isfara of the Tajik Soviet Socialist Republic in the genre of classical Soviet Eastern on a historical and revolutionary theme about the struggle for Soviet power in Central Asia.
Story
The beginning of the 1920s. In Central Asia, there is a struggle with the Basmachi . Returning from the county, the commander of the police detachment Maksumov discovers that all his subordinates have switched to the side of the Basmach Khayrulla. Maksumov wants to return his detachment. He charges the gun with six rounds, and hides the seventh under his cap. Then he surrenders to the people of Khayrulla, carrying their leader Aigul's new wife. On the way, they are attacked by a shepherd Ismail, who believes that a policeman killed his brother. It turns out that an error occurred, and Ismail becomes Maksumov’s friend. Conducting a dangerous game, constantly balancing on the brink of death, Maksumov will unleash his squad. Together with Ismail Maksumov destroys the Khairulla gang. The fleeing Khairulla Maksumov is defeated by that very last, seventh bullet.
