History
In 1795, in the Kozmodemyansk district of the Kazan province consisted of vil. Chandrovo (19 yards), settlements from it Middle Chandrov (21 yards), Lower Chandrov (23 yards).

In 1964, by a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR, the settlements of Ishterekkasy, Sirmakasy and Turikasy were merged into one settlement called the village of Chandrovo [3] .
Until 2006, the municipal authority was the Chandrovsky village administration. On January 1, 2006, it was reorganized by joining the administration of the Moscow region of Cheboksary into the Chandrovsky territorial division of the Moscow region of Cheboksary and the city district of Cheboksary .
Geography
The village is located along the Yadrinsky highway - the access road from the Volga federal highway M7 to Cheboksary. In the vicinity of the village the river Cheboksarka originates.

The local historian I. S. Dubanov, referring to the work of Pavlov L. P. and Stanyal V. P. “My Cheboksary side” [4] , notes:
The name is from al-Bulgar. Khazar . the words chandir "weak, small."

In 1781 - 1782 according to the Vedomosti on the Viceroyalty of Kazan , in the village of Chanda (o) ditch at the top of the Cheboksary River, there were 163 souls of baptized Chuvashs [6] . The population of the territory is 789 people ( 2007 ). The ethnic composition is mainly formed by the Chuvash and Russians .

In 2008, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the publication of the poem “Narspi” , the two newly formed streets of Chandrova were named after the heroes of the work - Narspi and Setner [8] , but currently there are no such streets within the Chandrova [7] .

Street gas and water pipelines are laid along all available streets.
Monuments and memorials

Transport
Near Chandrova (with a stop near it) shuttle buses and minibus No. 271 [10] . The areas of Cheboksary and Chandrovo are connected by the city bus route No. 32 [11] .
Construction
In 2010, the construction company Otdelfinstroy in the area of the village of Chandrovo began construction of a complex suburban cottage settlement on the territory of more than 50 hectares. In connection with the crisis, this project was suspended. The length of the roads inside the village is 8.5 km.
Other facts
- In the outskirts of Turikasy and Ishterekkasy, considered the village of Chandrovo, in all probability, he collected materials and made notes while on a business trip in 1906 - 1908 , ethnographer Gyula Mesarosh [2] .
