It is located in the central part of the region 3 km north of the city of Safonov , 4 km north of the M1 Belarus highway. 5 km north of the village the railway station O.p. The 14th km on the Durovo - Vladimirsky Tupik branch. It is part of the Beleninsky rural settlement.

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in September 1941 , liberated in 1943 . [2]
