Contribution to Science
Known as a scientist in the field of geopolitics , geoeconomics , geophilosophy [7] , regional studies [8] and global studies . On the basis of the geopolitical theory of Large Multidimensional Spaces (frontier communicativeness) developed by Professor Dergachev [9], a series of interdisciplinary textbooks has been created aimed at the formation of analytical thinking. [10] The concept of new and latest geopolitics was expanded and the following theoretical and applied provisions were formulated, which made up a contribution to science:
- theoretical and applied foundations of territory development (historical-geographical and geopolitical approach);
- ideas about the cyclical and spatio-temporal stratification of the development of the territory, including highlighted historical cycles of economic development of the territory;
- ideas about a single process of development of the earth's surface, the "law" of the integrity of the process of development (settlement, economic development and environmental change) of the earth's surface;
- the concept of the land-ocean natural-economic contact zone as a coastal zone of intensive interaction between nature, the population and the economy and one of the basic concepts of the new geopolitics (geoeconomics);
- the theory of economic development and zoning of the oceans based on the formation of port-industrial complexes and the allocation of eccentric economic and ecological systems;
- theoretical justification for the formation of a new form of regional integration (marine communities), which was embodied in practice in the creation of the Black Sea region of economic cooperation;
- for the first time in Soviet science at the end of the 80s, the idea and concept of a phased transition to market relations and world economic integration based on an open economy — the formation of free economic zones and international transport corridors;
- the geopolitical foundations of geoeconomics (new geopolitics) were first developed;
- given the ideas about the geopolitics of cyber warfare, network revolutions and geopolitical technologies of "capture" of states with the help of "soft power", manipulation of the human consciousness (subconscious) and the creation of destructive frontier energy;
- first developed the foundations of offshore geopolitics;
- the practical application of the geopolitical theory of BMP, taking into account regular foreign monitoring trips, made it possible to give high-precision analytical forecasts of the transformation of Eastern Europe and other regions of the world (Balkans, Crimea, China, Indochina, the Middle East, etc.).
The author of more than 600 scientific works (including 50 books), analytical and journalistic publications published in Russia , the USA , Japan , Italy , Ukraine , Moldova , Bulgaria and other countries. Permanent author of the international journal Vestnik Analitiki [11] ( Moscow , Russia ). Journalistic articles were published in the Russian newspapers Izvestia , Literaturnaya Gazeta , Ekonomicheskaya Gazeta, General Gazeta , Krasnaya Zvezda , and Ukrainian and foreign publications.
