Karagandy Candy JSC (Karaganda Confectionery Factory) is one of the largest confectionery enterprises in Kazakhstan with a capacity of 30,000 tons.

The factory was launched in November 1956 .
For the first time, confectionery ( caramel "pillows") in Karaganda began to be produced back in the years of World War II on equipment brought in December 1941 from Astrakhan .
In the 1970s, the Karaganda confectionery factory was the first of all the enterprises of the Soviet Union working in this industry, was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor .

Activities
In 1996, the confectionery factory was bought by the English company UIG Limited . In 2013, a government decree identified 8 system-forming enterprises of the Karaganda region for monitoring Kazakhstani content, including, along with ArcelorMittal Temirtau , Kazakhmys , Eurasian Foods JSC, Efes Karaganda Brewery JSC, Central Asia Cement , Kazcentrelectroprovod , Karagandarezinotekhnika LLP, also included Karagandy Candy JSC [2] .
