Dash, Carl

Karl Stork ( German: Karl Stoerk or Karl Störk ; September 17, 1832 , Buda , Hungary - September 13, 1899 , Vienna , Austria ) is an Austrian otolaryngologist . Born in Buda in the family doctor. He studied medicine at the universities of Prague and Vienna . In 1858 he received the degree of doctor of medicine. After that, until the very end of his career, he did not stop working as a practical doctor in Vienna . He was an assistant to Ludwig Türk ( 1810 - 1868 ). In 1891 he was appointed head of the ENT clinic. In 1864 he became a private assistant professor at the University of Vienna , in 1875 - an extraordinary, and in 1894 - an ordinary professor .
