Zinaida of Tarsia ( I century ) - an early Christian saint , revered as a martyr . The memory is committed in the Orthodox Church on October 11 (according to the Julian calendar ).
According to the life, Zinaida together with her sister Philonila was a relative or cousin of the Apostle Paul . The sisters were natives of Tarsus , after the preaching of Paul, they left their home and settled in a cave near the city of Dimitriada. Life reports that Zinaida was a doctor and healed those in need for free. The sisters were martyred by pagans by stoning .
