He worked as an assistant driver in the Ivanovo branch of the road, then as deputy head of the technical propaganda department. By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of April 10, 1945, Lieutenant-Colonel Yegorov Alexei Mikhailovich was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star medal (N 5479) for the exemplary performance of command assignments and for showing courage and heroism in battles with the German fascist invaders. .
