History
Soviet era
The first research reactor was built and launched by the company in the People's Republic of China , at the “Institute of Nuclear Physics” in 1958 . Two years later, in the city of Lanzhou, she built an entire “Physical Institute”. In it stood the U-150 brand accelerator, specially built at the Izhora plant for the Chinese (150 is the diameter of the poles of the magnets in cm ), a cyclotron having 18 MeV deuteron energy. The following year, the organization in the city of Rzezhe ( Czechoslovakia ) is building a "VVR-S" research research reactor (4 MW ). In 1960, the Institute for Nuclear Research of the city of Dresden built a full range of physical and chemical laboratories, the U-120 cyclotron, the VVR-S research reactor (2 MW). In the same year, in Yugoslavia, the organization (as part of the "Center for Nuclear Research") built: a large scientific center named after. Boris Kidridge with a heavy water reactor (power up to 10 MW ), radiochemical, and various other laboratories. After that, Egypt has its own research reactor (2 MW ) in 1961 . At the same time, near the capital of the NRB , the “Institute of Nuclear Physics” was built, which included: an experimental reactor of the “IRT” type and a radiochemical laboratory. And in 1962, the Nuclear Research Institutes (together with 2 MW experimental reactors of the VVR-S type) appear in the Hungarian People’s Republic and in Socialist Romania , respectively in the cities of Debrecen and in Bucharest . The main difference between these projects was that in Romania, Soviet specialists built a cyclotron of the U-120 type, and in Hungary - the “Center for training personnel for nuclear power plants”. Later on (including more powerful and more advanced) centers were launched in Iraq and the DPRK , in Poland and Libya . And the organization in another two countries of the planned model centers ( Indonesia and Ghana ) was forced to stop the organization due to political problems that appeared there [2] .
Modern Russia
Atomstroyexport CJSC was established in 1998 by the companies of VO Atomenergoexport and Zarubezhatomenergostroy companies for the construction and operation of nuclear power plants abroad.
In Soviet times, the parent company, VO Atomenergoexport , built 31 power units at 9 NPPs with a total capacity of about 16.6 million KW (including the Greifswald NPP in Germany, the Bohunice NPP in Slovakia, the Temelin NPP and the Dukovany NPP in the Czech Republic, NPP Kozloduy in Bulgaria, NPP Loviisa in Finland). For various reasons, construction started at 10 NPPs was halted [3] .
Nuclear power plants, which were started by Atomenergoexport, were completed by Atomstroyexport in the Czech Republic and are being completed in Bulgaria.

Activity
Atomstroyexport builds nuclear power plants abroad and is engaged in the modernization of NPPs previously erected by Atomenergoexport. In 2006, the total order book exceeded $ 4.5 billion Atomstroyexport CJSC for the summer of 2009 was the only company in the world that was simultaneously building 5 power units outside its country [4] .
For the construction of nuclear power plants, the company cooperates with other enterprises, including the military industrial complex: [5]
- Technopromexport
- Techsnabexport
- HydroOGK
- Stroytransgaz
- RusHydro
- Concern "Almaz-Antey"
The main typical reactor of the newly constructed NPP is NPP-2006 (VVER-1200) designed in Atomenergoproekt .
Current Projects
In India, the company is building the Kudankulam NPP and is planning to build new ones according to a large program [6] .
In Iran, the company completed (in fact, produced anew) the construction of the first nuclear power plant , begun by Western companies before the anti-Shah revolution , and involves the construction of several more power units at this and other nuclear power plants.
The company is building the Tianwan NPP in China [7] . At the end of 2006, the company lost in tenders for the construction of reactors for nuclear power plants in the provinces of Guangdong and Zhejiang to the American Westinghouse Electric Company (WEC). The application for participation in the competition was withdrawn due to the fact that the Chinese side unexpectedly made it imperative to continue the project transfer of technology [7] .
In September 2008, the company announced the existence of agreements with Venezuela on cooperation in the field of nuclear energy. As the representative of the company noted, “We, as the only country that has introduced over the past 15 years 2 power units of a new generation abroad, formulated our proposal and received consent for it. We are waiting for the moment to connect to the work. ” [8] However, in March 2011, the President of Venezuela announced the suspension of the NPP program.
Since 2010, the company began work on the design of the first nuclear power plant in Turkey.
Also since 2010, the implementation of the program for the construction of nuclear power plants in Vietnam [9] has begun.
According to the intergovernmental agreement of 2011, the company began construction of the first nuclear power plant in Belarus [10] .
November 2, 2011 Bangladesh and Russia signed an intergovernmental agreement on the construction of a nuclear power plant in Rappur [11]
In the case of contracts, the company intends to implement projects for the construction of nuclear power plants (as well as research reactors and atomic desalination plants) in Algeria, directly or jointly with foreign companies. , Argentina [12] , Egypt, Indonesia , Jordan [13] , Kazakhstan , Morocco , Nigeria , Syria , Czech Republic , in Ukraine . For political reasons, the construction of the first nuclear power plant in the DPRK was stopped (as in Libya , Cuba and in Eastern European countries earlier).
