It stood out from the neighboring village of Yakovlevo no later than the end of the 18th century . Originally called Dubrova . The name is for steppe oak forests .
There was once a temple in Dubrov, in which, according to legend, a relic was stored - a golden ark donated to the parish by Prince G. Priklonsky, given to Ivan the Terrible by the ancestor of Priklonsky. Today, the ark is irretrievably lost, and the temple is destroyed.
