The Karaganda brewery has been operating since 1958 .
In 1997, the Karaganda Brewery acquired the Efes Beverage Group and formed the enterprise IP Efes Karaganda Brewery JSC.
As marketing research shows, Karagandinskoye beer is one of the most popular beer brands in Kazakhstan. The products of the Karaganda brewery occupies the first position in Kazakhstan in terms of beer sales, with a market share of more than 20% [3] .

The plant produces up to 53 million liters per year . In 2013, a government decree identified eight system-forming enterprises in the Karaganda region for monitoring Kazakhstani content, including, along with ArcelorMittal Temirtau , Kazakhmys , Karagandy Chocolates , Eurasian Foods , Central Asia Cement , Kazcentrelectroprovod and Karagandarezinotekhnika , also included FE Efes Karaganda Brewery JSC [4] .

At the Sochi International Exhibition-Fair “Beer-2004”, the beer “Karaganda Light” and “Karaganda Dark” received gold medals for “excellent quality” and for “elegantly aged style”.
