Eirik Kvalfoss ( Norwegian Eirik Kvalfoss ; born December 25, 1959 , Voss , Hordaland ) - Norwegian biathlete , 1984 Olympic champion in sprint, silver (in relay) and bronze (in individual race) medalist of those games. Three - time world champion ( 1982 , 1983 , 1989 ). Winner of the 1988/89 Biathlon World Cup . He was married to the Norwegian skier and biathlete Grete Ingeborg Nyukkelmo .
