Etymology
Krasnoe, the village - formerly the “village of Krasnaya”, is so called the first settlers who found a “red place” here , that is, a beautiful, “attractive place for settlement” [7] [8] [9] . According to Dahl - “red” means beautiful, excellent, best [10] .
History
The date of foundation of the village of Krasnoye (village of Krasnoye) is unknown. A written source - the Scribe Book of the Suzdal Uyezd in 1628-1630, reports on the presence of the owner village of Krasny in the Opole camp of the Suzdal Uyezd.
There are two versions to which Red belonged in the first third of the 17th century . According to one, in the Opole camp there is shown “a graveyard ... at the church of St. Nicholas the Miracle Worker, a priest and a sexton, two cells of the poor, arable land of twelve quarters in a field, eight quarters fall, ten hayfields” At the churchyard, the village of Krasnaya is the estate of the landowner V. I. Ratkov [11] . According to another, Krasnoe is an estate , its owner is the sovereign man - the prospector Savva Martyanov Aminev ; in the village of peasant households 5, property - 2, church - 1; mills - 2 (two); Church of St. Nicholas the Miracle Worker [12] .
During the 17th-18th centuries, Krasnoye was a part of the Suzdal Uyezd , then - from 1778 - in the Vladimir governorate , and since 1796 , after the new internal demarcation and creation of provinces - in the Vyaznikovsky Uyezd of the Vladimir province .
According to 1859 , published by the Central Statistical Committee of the Ministry of the Interior , it reads: “Vladimir province, Vyaznikovsky district, II stan, Krasnoye - the village of the owners , with the river Lyulekh. Located on the right side of the Yaroslavl trade route from the border of the Yuryevets district to Gorokhovsky; from the county center 73 versts, from the apartment building 28 versts; the number of yards is 107, the number of residents: male - 263 people, female - 322 people. The Church is Orthodox: 1 (one) ” [13] .
Under the Soviet regime , after the administrative-territorial demarcation in the USSR - since 1935, the village of Krasnoye as part of the Palekh district of the Ivanovo region .
Temple of the Icon of the Mother of God “Sign”
Krasnovskaya St. Znamenskaya Church (Icon of the Sign of the Blessed Virgin Mary) , with a graveyard , located in the center of the village - in a prominent, elevated place - a monument of Russian church architecture of the early XIX century [14] .
It was built of brick in 1801 - 1804 instead of the dilapidated wooden church of the same name, which existed here earlier, according to the "temple letter" of the bishop of Vladimir and Suzdal diocese of Xenophon (Troepolsky) dated July 23, 1801 - at the request of the village priest Stefan Stefanov and the landowner, countess and commander Porfiry Nikolaevich Buturlin.
The construction of the new church was carried out by the “church builder” - the merchant Pyotr Alekseevich Borodulin at the expense of the landlord P. N. Buturlin , and collected by the parishioners of the church community . The church was consecrated on June 14, 1810 at the request of the priest Stefan Stefanov and church builder Peter Borodulin [15] .
Wall painting with plots of the Old and New Testaments and with elements of ornamental compositions was executed later built, in the middle of the XIX century, by masters of the Palekh icon painting school. The restoration of wall painting in the temple was carried out repeatedly (for the first time in 1862). Then, in 1905-1906, the temple was restored by the masters of the Palekh icon-painting workshop Ivan Ivanovich Parilov in the "Italian" style of the Palekh Fryzhsky style [16] [17] .
On September 23, 1884, a parish school was opened at the Church of the Holy Sign, the number of students in 1897 was 62. Under Soviet rule, on the basis of the parish school, they created a Soviet-style rural educational institution that existed until recently; many of the now-living Krasnodar students studied there.
According to the "Historical and Statistical Description of the Churches and Parishes of the Vladimir Diocese for 1898" - ... The clergy in the Krasnovsky parish in the state are a priest and a psalm-reader, they receive up to 500 rubles a year from various sources. Houses of clergy members have their own on church land. The church parish consists of the village of Krasnoye and the nearby villages of Luzhkov, Lomov, Bogatishchi, Lukin and Ivankov, in which, according to the clearing lists, there are 530 male and 639 female souls [18] .
Krasnoselskaya church is one of the few in the Ivanovo region that under the Soviet regime remained active, the temple did not close. [11] . The following is attributed to the arrival of the Znamensky Church: - Chapel of St. Martyrs Paraskeva Fridays, p. Wealth. At present, worship services are regularly held there, Protopriest Leo Smirnov serves in the church [19] .
Infrastructure
The village is sparsely populated, currently in the rural settlement there are only three streets : Central, Slobodskaya and River.
Within the boundaries of the village there is a system of communal infrastructure (SCI) [20] , which provides conditions for a comfortable life for residents of the village - the village of Krasny, as an object of the municipality - Ramensky rural settlement . SKI includes electricity, gas, water, wastewater, solid waste cleaning, etc. [21] .
December 25, 2017, natural gas came to the village; gas pipelines of high - 436 m and low pressure with a length of almost 2.7 km were built [22] . Design and estimate documentation worth 1.2 million rubles was developed at the expense of the funds of residents and the rural church. Natural gas is now provided to 43 households in the village and the rural Holy Znamensky church [23] .
