Player Career
Player of the NBA club " New York Knicks " (1964-74). 2-time NBA champion (1970, 1973), MVP of the 1970 season, 5 times included in the symbolic national teams according to the season results (1970 - the first team, 1967-69, 1971 - the second team). He was assigned number 19 in the Knicks. In 1982, Reed was included in the Basketball Hall of Fame , and in 1996 - among the top 50 players in the history of the association .
In 1963, Reed became the champion of the Pan American Games in São Paulo as part of the US team . In the same year, the United States took fourth place at the World Basketball Championship in Brazil .
