In 1992 he made his debut as part of " America " from Mexico City. In the 1994/95 season, he made his way to the main club. The next two seasons remained the player of the “foundation”. He spent the 1997/98 season on loan at the Necax . Upon his return, he spent two more seasons in the main part of "America".
In the 2000/01 and 2001/02 seasons, he acted on loan for the Spanish Real Valladolid , where he could not prove himself properly.
Returning to his native " America ", he played for it for five seasons, being the leader of the club. Klausuru 2005, Champion of Mexico Champions 2005, CONCACAF Champions Cup 2006 won in her squad, took 4th place at the 2006 Club World Championship .
On April 3, 2007, he joined the Chicago Fire Club [3] [4] , from the American MLS Major League, where he played until 2009, being the leader and captain of the team. In MLS, Blanco received the second- highest salary after David Beckham ($ 2.7 million per season) [5] [6] .
After his departure from America , the president of this club Guillermo Canyedo announced that the tenth issue, under which Blanco played, would be retired for five years, in deference to the merits of the player to the club [7] .
In November 2008, Blanco was briefly rented by the Mexican club Santos Laguna to play for this team in the playoffs (Ligillia) of Aperture 2008. Santos needed a strong forward that could replace the injured Christian Benitez , one of the leaders of this team and all Mexican examples. In the quarter finals Santos beat San Luis twice (3: 1; 2: 1) (in the second of these matches Blanco scored from the penalty spot), and in the semifinal he lost to the future champion Toluca in the sum of two games ( 0: 0; 1: 2). After that, Blanco returned to the Chicago Fire .
In October 2009, Blanco announced that he would not renew the contract with the Chicago Fire club and instead would play for the Veracruz club from the League de Assenso , Mexico's second strongest division, starting in January 2010. [eight]
In the summer of 2010, he moved to the Irapuato club of the League de Assenso. [9] In a team with Blanco, the club achieved significant success and won the 2011 Clausura season, but was unable to qualify for Example , losing in the finals for promoting the Tijuana club.
In December 2011, having failed to conclude a contract with the Examples clubs, the 39-year-old Blanco moved to another team of the second division - Dorados de Sinaloa . Blanco said that this team will be the last in his professional football career, having finished the game with which he will try himself in the coaching profession. [ten]
At the end of 2012, as part of the Dorados de Sinaloa , he won the Mexico Cup .
At the end of the season, Klausura 2013 left Dorados de Sinaloa, but decided to pursue a football career and signed a contract with the Lobos BUAP club of the league of the second division of the Assenso MX (former League de Assenso) [11] . Blanco spent one year with Lobos BUAP and then decided not to renew the contract.
Kuautemok did not hide the desire to "retire" playing for the club of the top division, if possible with the club " America ", in which his career began. There was no proposal from America, but the MX Club League 's Puebla became interested in the 41-year-old player, who tried to refrain from dropping out of the top division. On May 9, 2014, Puebla announced the signing of a contract with Blanco, which meant returning the player to the Major League after a six-year absence [12] [13] .
On April 21, 2015, as part of the Puebla , 42-year-old Blanco became the owner of the Mexico Cup of the 2015 Clausura season [14] . After the match, Quautemock Blanco announced the completion of his football career [15] [16] .
In February 2016, it was announced that the 43-year-old Blanco will participate in the official match of the 2016 Clausura season for the America club, in which he began his career [17] . Participation in the match would allow him to officially end his career playing for his native club. On March 5, 2016 Blanco entered the field of the Aztec stadium in the T-shirt of America under the number 100, having played 36 minutes in the match against Morelia [18] . During the game, Kuautemok demonstrated his classic feint “Kuauteminha” and delivered two direct shots on goal of the opponent, one of which hit the crossbar from outside the penalty area. The match ended with the victory of “America”, 4: 1 [19] [20] .
International Career
First played for the Mexican national team on February 1, 1995 in a match against Uruguay [6] .

He won the Confederations Cup (1999) and two CONCACAF Gold Cups (1996, 1998) as a member of the national team.
At the 2006 World Cup he was not taken [6] [21] by coach Ricardo La Volpe , with whom Blanco had a bad relationship [2] . The coach attributed this to Blanco's poor form, and Quautemock, after leaving Mexico from the tournament, sharply criticized Lavolpe [22] .
He announced his retirement in the Mexican national team, after the match on September 10, 2008 against Canada , the match was won by the Mexicans 3-0, Blanco came on as a substitute seven minutes before its end [5] [6] .
He returned to the Mexican national team in 2009. In 2010, at the World Cup in South Africa, Blanco became the oldest field player among all the players. June 17 scored a goal from the penalty spot on goal of the French team .
On May 28, 2014, the 41-year-old Blanco last played for the Mexican national team in a friendly match with the Israeli national team at the Aztec stadium. The match was a benefit in his honor. Kuautemok started in the armband of the captain of the national team at number “10” and spent 38 minutes on the field, after which he was replaced by Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez . The match ended with the victory of Mexico, 3-0 [23] [24] .
Political career
In January 2015, Blanco registered as a candidate from the Social Democratic Party of Morelos to run for mayor of the municipality of a prosperous suburb of Mexico City - the city of Cuernavaca [25] [26] . In the city elections in June 2015, Kuautemok Blanco won a landslide victory and was elected mayor of the city [27] [28] . As it turned out later, when registering as a candidate for mayor, Blanco used the text from an article about himself in the Spanish Wikipedia in his resume [29] .
In 2016, he left the ranks of the Social Democratic Party, moving the next year to the Social Dialogue Party. She convinced left-wing partners in the “Let's Make History Together” coalition that he would be a stronger candidate for governor of Morelos State than a nominee for the National Revival Movement, Senator Rabindranath Salazar Solorio. As a result, after an internal vote, coalition leader Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador declared Blanco its candidate on January 28, 2018. On July 1, 2018, Blanco won the gubernatorial election dry.
