Biography
Uldis Dumpis was born on October 3, 1943 in the city of Bauska. Father - Theodors Reinis Dumpis - a student drafted into the Latvian SS volunteer legion , died during the war. Mother - Lilia Ramane-Dumpe - philologist.
He studied at the Islitsky elementary school. He graduated from Bauska High School and the Theater Department of the Latvian State Conservatory named after J. Vitol ( 1965 ). From the same year, the actor of the Academic Drama Theater of the Latvian SSR named after A. Upita (National Theater).
Since 1964, starred in the movie.
