Leon (Leonid) Borisovich Mazrukho ( 1908 - 1979 ) - Soviet film director and cameraman . Honored Artist of the RSFSR ( 1969 ). Laureate of the Stalin Prize of the first degree ( 1946 ).

Biography

L. B. Mazrukho was born on June 3 (16), 1908 in Feodosia into a Jewish family.

In 1926 he graduated from the film courses of UDSK in Simferopol . In 1932 - 1979 - cameraman and director of the Rostov newsreel studio. During the Great Patriotic War, a front-line cameraman.

L. B. Mazrukho died on December 24, 1979 in Rostov-on-Don.
