Luca Lanotte ( Italian: Luca LaNotte ; July 30, 1985 , Milan , Lombardy , Italy) - Italian skater performing in ice dancing with Anna Cappellini . They are 2014 world champions, 2014 European champions , 2015–2017 European vice-champions, 2013 European Figure Skating Championships bronze medalists, 2006 bronze medalists of the 2006 Grand Prix Final and multiple champions of Italy (2012—2018). They have been performing together since 2005 . The couple is the champion of the winter Universiade .

Career
Before Anna Luca, he performed with Camilla Spelt and Camila Pistrelllo. However, it was all at a junior age.
In 2014, it so happened that the Italian couple unexpectedly for many won gold in the world and European championships. It was the only medal at the world championships to date. Experts suspected that after the 2013/2014 Olympic season, the couple would end their sports career. However, the skaters continued to perform. The next season they were not the best.
In September 2015, athletes started in the new season from first place in the Lombardy Cup [2] . In early November, the skaters successfully performed at the stage of the Grand Prix Audi Cup of China . They took first place in a difficult struggle [3] . At their next Moscow Grand Prix stage, the skaters took second place [4] . This allowed them to break into the Grand Prix finals, where they won medals for the first time [5] . In December, they became five-time national champions [6] . In a month in the European Championship in Bratislava, the skaters performed very well, the amount was improved. After a short program, the pair was in the lead, but after an arbitrary one, they sank to second place. At the beginning of April in Boston at the world championship, the skaters finished fourth and improved their previous achievements in the free program and amount [7] .
The Italian couple planned to start the new pre-Olympic season at home in one of the tournaments, but they starred and started in late September in Germany at the annual Nebelhorn tournament . Where in a bitter struggle they managed to win first place [8] . In late October, Italian dancers performed at the Grand Prix stage in Canada , where they took fourth place in the Federation Cup of Canada [9] . At the end of November, they performed at the final stage of the Grand Prix in Sapporo , where they managed to finish with bronze medals [10] . At the national championship in December 2016 in Egnier, the pair once again in a row confidently won the gold medal [11] .
At the end of January 2017, Italian athletes performed in Ostrava at the European Championship , where they were able to improve their previous achievements in the short program and amount; in total, in a bitter struggle, they took second place [12] . In mid-February, an Italian couple performed in Obersdorf at the Bavarian Cup [13] , where they confidently took first place. At the end of March, Italian skaters performed at the World Championships in Helsinki , where they managed to enter the six leading dance couples of the world in a bitter struggle [14] .
The Italian couple started the new Olympic season at the Challenger series tournament in Minsk, which they confidently won [15] . Three weeks later, they took part in the Japanese stage of the Grand Prix series , where they finished with bronze medals [16] , while they managed to slightly improve their previous achievements in short dancing. This allowed them to reach the Grand Prix Final . In Nagoya, Italian dancers did not perform very well, they took last place [17] . In mid-December, the couple once again confidently became champions of the country. In January 2018, they took 4th place at the European Championships in Moscow . In early February, before the opening of the Olympic Games in South Korea, the couple began to compete in the team tournament . They finished in Gangneung in a short program next to the podium. In the free program, they also finished fourth. The Italian team eventually finished next to the podium. In mid-February, Gangneung at the personal tournament of the Olympic Games, the Italian skaters finished sixth. They also managed to improve their previous achievements in short dancing.
