Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (faction)

The Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) is a faction in the State Duma of Russia . The faction was created on the basis of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia . In the elections to the State Duma of the 1st convocation, the LDPR received more than 20% of the vote (first place). In the elections to the State Duma of the 2nd convocation, the LDPR received 10% of the vote. In the elections to the State Duma of the 3rd convocation, members of the LDPR Party created the “Zhirinovsky Bloc”, which received 6% of the vote. In the elections to the State Duma of the 4th convocation, the LDPR received 11% of the vote. During the voting in the State Duma, the LDPR faction held a special position, constantly discussing internal political and foreign policy issues. The LDPR faction is one of the active factions in the State Duma.
