Description
It first appears in the story " Alice's Journey ", where he is described as a large white bird, like a parrot, with two beaks and a golden crown of feathers [1] [2] (that is, the corolla). In One Hundred Years Ahead , it is mentioned that he has “two beaks instead of ears, and one ear instead of beaks” [3] . In the later stories The Golden Bear and The Detective Alice refer to two heads. In the cartoon The Secret of the Third Planet , he is depicted differently: with one beak and a yellow head.
Behavior and Nutrition
The talker is a rather lazy bird. When he does not speak and does not fly, he likes to doze. If he talks a lot, he may hoarse. When a talker talks a lot, especially in the language of space pirates , he hoars and squeaks like an unlubricated cart. To return the voice of a talker, it needs to be filled with hot milk, preferably with soda.
The data about the speech ability of a talker is somewhat contradictory: it is noted that a talker is only able to repeat phrases heard from someone (also imitating voice and intonation) - but in several episodes the talker makes quite meaningful sentences that can hardly be a repetition of someone else’s of words.
Feed the talkers can be ordinary white bread with milk. For utility, they are given rosehip syrup. They also love sugar.
However, during interstellar flights, talkers can do without food for a long time; in the case of a strong famine, a talker can even be fattened with lube (robots from the Shelezyak planet did not have another meal for a talker).
