History
It was formed in the middle of the 1950s on the territory of the former Moscow Region villages of Troitsky Cheryomushki and Znamensky Cheryomushki and was called 6th Cheryomushkinskaya Street. When in honor of the 40th anniversary of the Soviet trade unions in 1958, the 4th Cheryomushkinskaya Street was renamed to Profsoyuznaya Street , the street received a number from the renamed street and became known as the 4th Cheryomushkinskaya Street. July 30, 1963 [2] received a modern name for the former village of New Cheryomushki, which became part of Moscow in 1960 [3] .
Initially, the street was torn in two parts by the territory of the Cheryomushki brick factory [4] . The area between the streets of Dmitry Ulyanov and Krzhizhanovsky appeared only after the building of the plantβs territory with multi-storey panel houses [5] .
Location
Novocheryomushkinskaya Street runs from Shvernik Street to Nametkina Street , parallel to Profsoyuznaya Street , intersects with streets: Vinokurov , Dmitry Ulyanov , Krzhizhanovsky and Nakhimov Avenue , on the right adjoin Kedrov , Garibaldi , Akademika Polyakova , on the left - Tsyurupa and Bolotnikovskaya streets. It consists of four plots built at different times:
- from Shvernik Street to Dmitri Ulyanov Street - the old part formed during the construction of the village Cheryomushki. It consists of two lanes in each direction, in fact it is a boulevard.
- From Dmitriy Ulyanov Street to Krzhizhanovsky Street - a new site formed during the construction of the territory of the Cheryomushki ceramic (brick) plant with multi-storey buildings, also a boulevard. Public transport in this area did not go until 2013.
- From Krzhizhanovsky Street to Garibaldi Street - the second old section, which is also a boulevard, which in particular expands to a part of the section from Krzhizhanovsky to Nakhimovskiy Prospect, interrupted by parking and public garden.
- From Garibaldi Street to Nametkina Street - a new plot. Narrowed to two lanes, one-way traffic (only in the direction of the street Nametkina).
