Development
The CC8S began as a prototype CC. Despite limited resources, the chassis , suspension , brakes, levers and much more were developed by a small team of Koenigsegg. The car was very original and it was given a lot of attention from the outside, but in order to feel the soil, Koenigsegg decided to demonstrate the prototype CC at the Cannes Film Festival in 1997 . The reaction was favorable and the first international contacts were established. The automaker worked confidently and promoted production, starting five years later in 2002, mass production of the CC8S model. [2]
