Biography

Since 1922, he has been an artist of Mosestrada. In 1938, he founded (along with his sister and three brothers-musicians) the jazz orchestra "Jazz Accordion Ensemble", with which he toured the country. In 1950 [2] , when the USSR was fighting against cosmopolitanism , the orchestra was disbanded. He died in Moscow in 1964. He was buried at Vostryakovsky cemetery.

The songs “I Love” and “My Happiness” were first performed by Georgy Vinogradov [3] (released on the disc in 1939 ). 40 years later, in 1980, Joseph Kobzon included them in his retro album Tango, Tango, Tango ... (Melody, С60 15763-4) [4] . Boris Grebenshchikov sang the song “My Happiness” on the solo album “ Chubchik ” ( 1996 ). Another song by Yefim Rosenfeld - “Old Letters” - was performed by Claudia Shulzhenko . [5] [6]
