Kalimantan cat lives on the island of Kalimantan , belonging to Indonesia and Malaysia.
The body length of the animal is about 58 cm, weight 2.3-4.5 kg. It preys on small mammals and birds. This species is rare and poorly understood. The first known whole specimen (and the seventh specimen in general) is an adult female caught in a trap in 1992 by local residents. For some time they kept her in captivity, after which they delivered her in a dead state to the museum of the state of Sarawak [2] . In 2002, a cat was first photographed in nature [3] . On January 13, 2011, for the first time after 1992, a live specimen of a Kalimantan cat was found; Now it is located in the Pulong Tau National Reserve.
