Nobles since the 17th century. Judging by the surname, Volga-Tatar origin, cf. Tatars.-Muslim. Azanchi, that is, the muezzin . Constructed into the nobility from the " Moscow nobleman " Vasily Martemyanovich Azancheev (1658) and recorded in the VI part of the genealogy books of the provinces of Smolenskaya and Moscow [1] .

Emblem Description

A shield with a silver field depicts a Hand out of the Cloud emerging with three Arrows, the points of which are crosswise pointed downwards.

The shield is crowned with a noble helmet and crown. The mark on the shield is silver, red. The coat of arms of the Azancheyev clan is included in Part 3 of the General Armorial of the noble clans of the All-Russian Empire, p. 93.
