Biography
Born on January 27, 1923 in the village of Kievskoye in the Crimean region of the Krasnodar Territory in a peasant family. Russian. Member of the CPSU since 1943. In 1940 he graduated from high school and flying club. In the Soviet Army since May 1941. He graduated from the Krasnodar Military Aviation Pilot School in 1942 [2] .
On the fronts of World War II from February 1943. He stormed the enemy’s batteries, firing at Leningrad , smashed the enemy on the Karelian Isthmus , in the Baltic states and in East Prussia .
The rank of Hero of the Soviet Union to the squadron commander of the 15th Guards Assault Aviation Regiment ( 277th Assault Aviation Division , 1st Air Army , 3rd Belorussian Front ) of the Guard was assigned to Captain Aleksenko Vladimir Avramovich on April 19, 1945 for 230 successful assault sorties attacks on the accumulation of enemy troops and equipment, for valor and courage shown in the performance of combat missions.
Major Aleksenko was awarded the second Gold Star medal to the commander of the 15th Assault Aviation Regiment of the Guard on June 29, 1945 for 292 sorties for attacking enemy fortifications, airfields and destroying enemy manpower.
In total, during the war years, the attack aircraft pilot Aleksenko made 292 successful sorties. He has accounted for dozens of aircraft shot down and destroyed at aerodromes, 33 tanks, 118 vehicles, 53 railway cars, 85 wagons, 15 armored personnel carriers, 10 ammunition depots, 27 artillery pieces, 54 anti-aircraft guns, 12 mortars and hundreds of enemy soldiers and officers destroyed.
After the war he continued to serve in the army. In 1954 he graduated from the Air Force Academy . In 1962 - the Military Academy of the General Staff. Lieutenant General of Aviation (1968). From October 1967 to June 1974, the commander of the 5th Air Army of the OdVO. Member of the Supreme Council of the Ukrainian SSR of the 5th, 8th convocation. Since 1978, retired, lived in Odessa .
He died on June 16, 1995.
