Under the name “Deutsch Nepal,” Lina released eight studio albums and split-CDs with In Slaughter Natives and another with The Moon Lay Hidden Beneath a Cloud .
Other works include two tapes released on the Italian label Old Europa Cafe , entitled Only Silence Among The Filthy and The Silent Earth . As well as the single Dentist Environmental on Ant-Zen , as well as The Very Top Of Lina Baby Doll LP.
Criticism
Piero Scaruffi attributes Deutsch Nepal to the generation of the "constructivists of sound" and calls it (along with In Slaughter Natives and Raison D'être ) one of the most prominent performers of this generation [1] .
Facts
- The name “Deutsch Nepal” is taken from a track of the same name, released in 1972 by German kraut-rock legend Amon Düül II .
- Lina Der Baby Doll General is a pseudonym for Peter Andersson (not the same Peter Andersson from the Raison D'être ).
- Lina, together with Roger Karmanik, is the founder of the Cold Meat Industry label.
