Pritanid ( ancient Greek Πρύτᾰνις "sovereign", "ruler", "sovereign"; Ionian Pritany ) is the half-legendary king of Sparta . According to the Chronicle of Eusebius , he reigned for 49 years. Son of Evripont [3] . According to Simonides , the father of Lycurgus [4] . When it began the feud of Sparta and Argos (see Labota ) [5] .
