Masuda, Yoneji

Yoneji Masuda ( 增田 米 二 Masuda Yoneji , 1905 - 1995 ) is a Japanese sociologist and futurologist , one of the authors of the concept of the information society . In 1972 he introduced the “Plan for the Information Society - a National Goal for 2000”, which was later expanded and published in the form of the book “The Information Society as a Post-Industrial Society ” ( 1980 ).
