Joannie Rochette ( born January 13, 1986 in Montreal , Canada ) is a Canadian figure skater who performed in singles . Six-time champion of Canada (2005-2010), bronze medalist of the Winter Olympics in Vancouver . As of December 2011, it ranks 29th in the ranking of the International Skating Union (ISU) [1] .

Joannie Rochette is the only skater who won the Canadian national championship at all three age levels (among children, juniors and adults).

Personal life
- In February 2010 , during the Olympic Games , three days before the start of the women's competition , Joannie Rochette suddenly, from a heart attack, died of her mother [2] .
