Story
The Gascon dog falls in love with the Queen’s lap-dog and goes after her to the courtyard. She gives him the task of saving the mistress, who gave her diamond pendants to her beloved duke, but should appear in them at the ball. A faithful Gascon with his friends Fat Man, Handsome and Noble goes to England. Along the way, the cats of the cardinal, led by Milady, lure Fat Fat into a sausage, and compassionate Handsome Little Sheep, which "no one grazes," and seriously injure them. The remaining Noble distracts the cats from the Gascon, and he, crossing the sea to England, steals pendants. Bats, who also quarrel with cats, help him cross back. Having kept up with the ball, the brave dog deserves the love of a beautiful lapdog and walks victoriously in Paris with his bandaged friends.

Facts
- The English detective dog is reminiscent of Sherlock Holmes , and voiced by Vasily Livanov - the performer of the role of Holmes in the series of films “ The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson ” [4] . It is also interesting that the script for this cartoon was written by Vladimir Valutsky , the author of the script for the second film of the cycle.
- Despite the fact that the detective dog portrays an Englishman, this is an obvious German Doberman.
- Contrary to the name, in the cartoon there is not a single moment where the hero appears in boots.
- The Tories and Whigs parties mentioned in the cartoon were created in 1649 and 1679, respectively, while the action takes place in 1625.
