Description
House numbers are from the intersection with Bolshaya Cherkizovskaya Street. On the opposite side, the street adjoins Spacious Street and the Open Highway .
To the right of the street adjoins Khalturinsky passage .
Name Origin
Until 1922 it was called Progonnaya Street (this name indicates its origin from the progony road, along which cattle grazed in the Middle Ages ). Then it was renamed into Timokhin Street (according to the homeowner). However, this name did not exist for long: already in 1925 the street was renamed in honor of the terrorist - the people's activist Stepan Khalturin .
