Spiky seed blixa has narrow, semi-rigid, transparent leaves with strong nerves , growing in rosettes and forming dense bushes.
Underwater plant, rising slightly above the water.
Numerous white flowers blooming on the surface give easy seeds . The resulting achenes are covered with many thin spines for attachment to animal hair or bird feathers [3] , which is why the plant is also called hedgehog . Seeds to maintain their germination require constant maintenance in water.
It grows very quickly, unpretentious to the composition of the soil , but requires water from +22 to +28 ° C and, in addition, a regular change of water. Well propagated by seeds.
