Achievements
Liverpool won trophies both in domestic tournaments and in international club competitions. He more often than other clubs became the owner of the League Cup (7 times) [1] . In the very first season after the formation of the club, he won the Lancashire League tournament and the Liverpool County Cup [2] . The last trophy won by the club at the moment is the Football League Cup , which he won in 2012 for the eighth (record) time in its history [1] .

The club’s top scorer in its history is Ian Rush , who has scored 346 goals in his career at Liverpool (from 1980 to 1996, with a break for the 1987/88 season ). He also holds the record for the most goals scored in one season (47 goals in all competitions in the 1983/1984 season ), as well as the records for the most goals scored in the FA Cup and League Cup (48 and 39, respectively) . However, Rush was not able to break the record for the number of goals in the league, set by Roger Hunt in 1970 (245 goals).
