Achievements

Liverpool won trophies both in domestic tournaments and in international club competitions. He more often than other clubs became the owner of the League Cup (7 times) [1] . In the very first season after the formation of the club, he won the Lancashire League tournament and the Liverpool County Cup [2] . The club’s top scorer in its history is Ian Rush , who has scored 346 goals in his career at Liverpool (from 1980 to 1996, with a break for the 1987/88 season ). He also holds the record for the most goals scored in one season (47 goals in all competitions in the 1983/1984 season ), as well as the records for the most goals scored in the FA Cup and League Cup (48 and 39, respectively) . However, Rush was not able to break the record for the number of goals in the league, set by Roger Hunt in 1970 (245 goals). Steven Gerrard holds the record for the highest number of goals in European tournaments (28), he is also the team's top scorer among the players who are now playing for the club (100 goals scored in all competitions).
