Content

History and Description

Located on the right bank of the Lena River at the confluence of the Myla River, 24 km south of the ulus center of the village. Lower Bestyakh . The population according to the 2010 census is 1004 people. [2]

One of the agricultural centers of the republic. In the village there is a branch of the collective enterprise “Turt”, the main industries are meat and dairy cattle breeding, meat herd horse breeding. There are a House of Culture, a secondary school, health care and trade institutions.

In 1735-1756, not far from Haptagai, the oldest Tamga ironworks in Yakutia operated .
