Chantsovo is a village in the Smolensk region of Russia , in the Glinkovsky district . Population - 14 inhabitants ( 2007 ) [1] . Located in the central part of the region, 10 km north of the village of Glinka , 16 km south of the P134 highway “The Old Smolensk Road” Smolensk - Dorogobuzh - Vyazma - Zubtsov , 21 km west of the P137 highway Safonovo - Roslavl . Included in the Romodanovsky rural settlement.

History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Hitler's troops in July 1941 , liberated during the Yelninsko-Dorogobuzh operation in 1943 .
