"National Congress of People's Defense" ( CNDP from the acronym CNDP from French Congrès national pour la défense du peuple ) is a Congolese rebel organization founded by General Nkunda on July 25, 2006 to protect the Tutsi ethnic minority in the province of North Kivu . KNDP appeared as a result of separation from the RKD .
