Pearl Mosque ( Urdu موتی مسجد ) is a white marble religious building located in Lahore Fort . It was built from 1630 to 1635. under Shah Jahan . The mosque is located on the western side of the Lahore fort, in the immediate vicinity of the gate of Alamgiri - the main entrance to the citadel.

History
After the collapse of the Mughal Empire , the mosque was transformed into a gourdwara and renamed Moti Mandir during the Sikh Confederation . Later, Ranjit Singh began to use the building as a state treasury. After the British captured Punjab in 1849 , they discovered gems lying in rags and velvet wallets inside the mosque. Later, religious relics were moved to the Badshahi mosque .
